Easy-Shout owners wish to be actively involved in developing a international directory of schools. Several local directories already exist, but many only service the private sector. It's hoped we can establish a truly International Directory, offering a database that can be searched by country, region and zip/postcode .... i.e. "3 clicks to find a school".

• on a regional basis - parents to find and review different schools - the school's culture and ethos is clearly represented in the look and feel of the web site.
• Internationally, it will also help schools to liaise with each other on numerous educational issues, including organising exchange visits.

Bold Challenge

• Our initial aim is to get all UK schools on a national database. We have been in contact with DfEE on this issue and when complete our next aim is to develop the European and US school database.

If you are interested in developing this idea and helping in any way, please contact us. We also seek a variety of sponsors - both large and small. Any company which registers with Easy-Shout and works within the Network will be able to advise customers and suppliers that they are involved with the project.

Here is an example of an early site we helped to create for a school in 1999 as part of a group known as Education EuroNet. We hope this challenge will ensure every school has the chance to 'show its colours' as this example illustrates.
